School is a necessary first step in the beginning of your career, but be patient and know that you are building a strong foundation. The next step is to continue your learning and hands-on training in the Au Salon Apprentice Program. You will receive weekly one-on-one guidance and coaching to develop your skills so that you can become a confident master stylist. The following are some of the important skills you will be perfecting:

• consultation and client bonding
• master styling including updos
• cutting and barbering
• razor and texturizing techniques
• color and hair painting
• business building/marketing
